How does it work?

• Buy Delphi 2010, C++Builder 2010 or RAD Studio 2010 licenses for each user. This offer is available for both first time purchases and upgrade purchases (upgrade pricing is available if you own a licensed product version 2006 or later). This offer applies to individual user licenses, 5-packs and 10-packs. It does not apply to network or academic licenses.
• Install and register your 2010 product
• Go to here and enter your serial number plus promo code AMNESTY to access any of the available earlier versions.
• Save a copy of the Legal Terms below. The legal terms only apply to the older versions available from the web page above, and only for older versions where you request a legal serial number and download.

This amnesty program is not available to any individual or company already involved in license compliance activities, audits, or negotiations related to license violations.

Legal Terms

If you (the licensee) has elected to participate in this amnesty program via use of the promo code and are subsequently electing to download past versions of the Product that you have purchased, then with this purchase of a license for the Product any prior usage of the Product by the user registered to the EDN account for whom amnesty has been requested shall be considered licensed usage (provided that such past usage was within the terms of the accompanying license agreement) and therefore Embarcadero agrees not to assert against the registered user a claim based on unlicensed usage with respect thereto. This amnesty only applies to those electing to participate in this amnesty program as described above.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the process to get the older licenses?
Purchase and register your qualifying 2010 product. Go to the fulfillment page. Enter your serial number, enter your promo code (AMNESTY), and you will be able to obtain the older version licenses and download links.

Can I transfer the older licenses to another user?
No. They are tied to the same user account as the 2010 product registration and cannot be transferred or shared between users.

What are the dates for this offer?
June 15, 2010 through September 30, 2010. All free old version licenses must be requested by October 15, 2010.

Can this offer be combined with other Embarcadero offers?
Yes.

Is this available for 5 and 10 packs?
Yes. Each of the users who registers the license from the 5 or 10 pack can request older licenses.

Is this available for networked licenses?
No

Is this available for academic licenses?
No

Is this available as part of Embarcadero All-Access?
Yes. All-Access already includes licenses for older versions.

What about other older versions like Delphi 5 or Delphi 6?
We no longer sell those versions so we can't offer them as part of this promotion.

Why no Architect editions of Delphi 7, Delphi 2007, C++Builder 6, or C++Builder 2007?
We only currently offer Professional and Enterprise editions of those products.

Why is 2007 broken out that way for RAD Studio?
We no longer provide licenses for the old Delphi for .NET personality that preceded Delphi Prism and we no longer offer licenses for ECO for .NET.

Is this offer available to any user worldwide?
Yes.

How can I see my legally licensed products?
Go to https://members.embarcadero.com and click "My registered products"

Can I look up the registered user by serial number to check the registration information?
We're not able to provide public access to registration details by serial number.

How can I check if my users are legally licensed?
Check the number of serial numbers you have against the number of developers using the software.

Which older versions do I get for each qualifying product?
